This is a cotton Narayanpet saree with a plain orange coloured body and an elaborate ornate broad border. Narayanpet sarees are known for their light weight, durability, affordability and lower maintenance. Because of their light weight and the signature design of contrasting border and pallu coupled with the small zari designs on the borders, Narayanpet Silk sarees are often compared to Ilkal sarees.

A Narayanpet Saree in Orange with a Broad Border
This saree is a fine count cotton saree normally woven with 60s-80s yarn both in warp and weft. It has small extra warp geometrical design in the border with Zari/Art silk.
The length of the saree is 5.5 meters. It does not have a blouse piece.
These sarees are woven in fly shuttle pit loom fitted with lattice dobby. Hank Sizing method is followed to size the yarn. Sectional warping machine is used to prepare long warp upto 300 mts length.
