Anoothi" - What is in a name?
I will say everything starts with a name. The word Anoothi means one of a kind, unique, unlike anything else.
To think of it, all of us are unique or 'Anoothe' in our own way.
We all:
Think differently - " Anoothi Soch"
Have different stories - "Anoothe Kisse"
Have different perspectives - "Anoothe Vichaar"
Are different - "Anoothe"
We are a true copy of ourselves that is unlike anyone else.
So I chose the name "Anoothi" to give a new beginning to my entrepreneurial venture. "Anoothi" is a design studio for apparel where we experiment with different embroidery and weaving techniques to create Anoothi stories with fabrics for the modern Indian woman - A woman who expresses herself openly and honestly through her sartorial choices.
In bringing up "Anoothi", we work with some amazing women (Anoothi) who create some amazing "Anootha" work. Why are these women "Anoothi"? Well, they all have a passion to become financially independent, self reliant and support their families. This year we aim to bring more of such women and girls under our fold and make them "Anoothi".
So I wish us all the best - a new year, new beginning and I am sure some "Anoothe" adventures and stories.
